Keira Knightley is engaged!
Keira Knightly and her rock ‘n’ roll boyfriend James Righton are engaged, which means the Pride and Prejudice star has finally found her Mr. Darcey. The Klaxons keyboardist popped the question to Keira after 15 months of romance. The starlet’s spokeswoman said: “I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton.” Righton, 28, was introduced to Knightley, 27, by his ex-girlfriend – fashionista Alexa Chung!
What better way to celebrate an engagement than by buying a house. The couple have reportedly lashed out and spent nearly $3.9m on a love-nest in Spitalfields, East London.
We wish the happy couple the best of luck. No wedding details have been announced, but we’re patiently waiting.

Cutting to the Chasse
On Friday night, one of Melbourne’s most exquisite lingerie stores, Bellechasse, celebrated their first birthday in lavish style.
The Champagne was flowing, the gorgeous lingerie-clad ladies were on show and there were indulgent canapes and cupcakes for all the guests to enjoy.
For one year, Bellechasse have been bringing you sexy, elegant and feminine lingerie and sleepwear designs from their High St Armadale store. It’s the number one hotspot for all things glamorous and girly. Not only do they bring you beautiful, enchanting lingerie pieces, but they also have a range of designer bedroom accessories for any discerning babe to bestow upon her boudoir. With their belief that honouring and celebrating a woman’s sensuality is important, the Bellechasse store is an inviting haven for people seeking to feel physically, emotionally and sexually confident.
If you haven’t already been seduced into the heavenly store that is Bellechasse, it’s well worth a visit. Whether it’s with girlfriends or your partner, you’re guaranteed an indulgent experience that will be a pleasant assault on all the senses.
The Bellechasse ladies will also be exhibiting at the Melbourne Bride Wedding Expo, at Stand 61, so come and say hello and view their beautiful range up close. And even more excitingly, you’ll be able to view their stunning pieces on our state-of-the-art fashion catwalk! Our Expo will be held on June 16th and 17th – it’s an event not to be missed.
Here are some pictures that the Bride team took from their Friday night birthday bash!
Gifts ahoy!
Your wedding day is a celebration of you, and your gift registry should be too. Take time to find a registry that suits your interests, tastes, needs and wants.
You’d be surprised at the options that couples have when it comes to choosing their gift registry. These days you don’t have to adhere to the standard registry at the local homewares store (although that can be helpful!), but you can choose from your favourite online wedding stores, art galleries, honeymoon registries, or even just opt for a wishing well.
If you’re looking for an fantastic online wedding registry, Etsy Weddings are worth checking out. Etsy connects shoppers with independent creators and designers to help find inspiring handmade and vintage goods. Here you will find homewares, jewellery, art, furniture, glassware, ceramics and fashion, among many other things. You won’t have trouble filling up your home with goods found on Etsy.
An art gallery gift registry is also a fantastic idea for couples seeking something special. Gallery Oscar in Sydney provides this service to couples, as it is perfect for people who have an interest in art, but may not be in the financial position to buy themselves. What better way to start your art collection than have your wedding guests chip in for you!
You can fill your home with all sorts of fabulous bits and pieces. If you register with Etsy your home could look like this! Click here for more information on gift registries.

Antique engagement rings
Vintage jewellery tells a story. Behind the veil of history, antique jewellery conjures up thoughts of nostalgia, wonder, and reflections of times gone by. Antique jewellery is timeless, classic and bursting with character, and if you purchase a piece of vintage jewellery, you’re also purchasing something that has most likely been loved and treasured by someone before you, which gives your piece extra charm.
Antique engagement rings are very popular, and with so many expert jewellery stores providing stellar pieces for those vintage lovers, there’s a great collection available out there. With a civilization rich with history, antique jewellery can date all the way back to the Victorian era, which ran roughly from 1835 to 1910. Then there’s the Edwardian era, the Art Deco and the Retro, all providing vastly different designs and creations from their time.
If you’re a lover of vintage and have a lust for all things old and charming, then an antique engagement ring might be the way to go!
Melbourne’s Keshett and Mary Titchener are both reputable jewelers that have big and beautiful collections to trawl and admire. And Sydney’s Martin and Stein is synonymous with fine antique Jewellery, so check them out!

Finding the right caterer to complement and enhance the style of your wedding is essential to your reception’s success.
Good food catering is vital to the success of a wedding reception. These days, people are incredibly savvy when it comes to the quality of food on offer. More and more couples are seeking excellence in both the quality and presentation of the food they’re choosing for their wedding reception, rather than being concerned with serving copious amounts of alcohol.
A good wedding caterer should understand this instinctively and should also be able to create the appropriate ambience. Bearing this in mind, interview as many caterers as you can at least six months prior to the event.
The degree of enthusiasm a caterer demonstrates and the rapport you have with them will affect your choice. Shop around and find one that understands your wishes and makes you feel comfortable. There are loads of caterers out there, so you need to have some patience and ask a lot of questions.
Peter Rowland Catering has produced thousands of Australian weddings for almost 50 years in creative and innovative ways. They pride themselves on listening to your dreams and ideas and making sure they happen for you! White Card Food and Events also provide a fantastic service, matched with equally mouth-watering cuisine. Your guests will remember the food and the service, so great catering is essential!
