Fresh off the Manhattan runway and straight to the Australian shore comes the Henry Roth Designer Days.
April is a huge bridal month in New York City where designers in New York, around America and worldwide tempt retailers with gowns that are becoming more glamorous, more creative and surrounded by more competition.
Henry Roth and his sister Michelle Roth, who commenced business in New York City in the early 1990s, have just come off a hot Manhattan runway exuberant with the reaction inspired by the trends, and are planning three Aussie designer days with a twist.
Henry and Michelle are based at the largest bridal store anywhere in the world, Kleinfeld, with an impressive position – number three out of 75 designers. “It’s always really exciting straight off a Manhattan runway to present some of the new collection in-store in Australia to brides that are equally as discerning as they would be anywhere in the world,” says Henry. The main Henry Roth Designer Days include Sydney, Townsville and Adelaide, and Melbourne with an informal visit planned.
Trends are exciting because it’s all about striking gowns, vintage lace and texture that has a sculpted feel, is asymmetrical and therefore has a very individual feeling.
“When you look at the world and so many things are becoming corporate and being pushed into bite sized, predictable, option less choices there is nothing more that I love than to really personalise the Henry Roth experience. We have limited availability so that the gowns are special, I provide brides with my mobile number and email address should they require assistance and we have the joy,” says Henry.
Henry’s visiting dates are: Sydney – Saturday May 19
Townsville – Tuesday May 22
Adelaide – Thursday May 24 and Friday May 25
